This morning at Gala Theatre, warming up to perform for students. Always wonderful to be at Gala - such a haven for flamenco, bringing schools to the theater to experience flamenco, and nourishing our own growth as performers. I have so many great memories dancing with Flamenco Aparicio Company here - they’ll be performing this weekend! Flamenco Men on Nov 4 - 6. Can’t wait!

Launching SonDeBaril with new show “Evolución” on September 16 & 17!

SonDeBaril arose out of the elements that drew me and Singer/Percussionist Yiyi Orozco together: the rhythms, sound, and movement of the age-old yet constantly evolving art form of flamenco.

Yiyi and I created “Evolución” with support from the Maryland State Arts Council in collaboration with guitarist Ricardo Marlow, dancers Edwin Aparicio and Anna Menendez, who will also be performing with us.
